This stem has been created using our 2022 stem design as part of our twisted stems series. This is one of our coolest designs yet as it has waves of fins near the tip and a wavy middle pocket groove that feels oh so right when held. This stem is made from a solid piece of exhibition grade amboyna burl wood. Amboyna burl is arguably the rarest most sought after burl wood there is. Exhibition grade burl is simply the best, most highly figured burl wood you can get. It will most always have extreme grain patterns with crazy twist and turns as well as multiple color tones.
As our new standard of Dynavap stem upgrades, our stems all have a slight chamfer or bevel at the ends of each side of the stainless steel linings. This allows for easy installation and removal of your dynavap condensers, tips and o-rings.
These are dynavap midsections (stems) that can be quickly swapped out from the standard Dynavap metal midsections. This stem is compatible with the XL condensers and o-rings with or without mouthpiece. It has a 14mm taper making it compatible with any glass pieces that have a 14mm hole for it to adapt to.
This midsection is made from amboyna burl wood that has several naturally occurring color tones and has been fully stabilized. It has a precision drilled hole that gets fitted with a surgical grade stainless steel tube. This makes the stem perfectly compatible with the Dynavap parts as well as adding rigidity and weight making it feel nice when held. The weight also gives it the same feel when in use as your used to with the metal Dynavap midsections. Once the stem is created it then gets sanded and polished using our nature based polish/waxes. Everything made in our shop is hand crafted.
Note: Your order will only contain the midsection in the photo. It does not include any Dynavap parts i.e. condenser, o-rings, tips etc. Mouthpieces shown in photos are to provide possible combinations you can use. Any mouthpieces both from us and Dynavap will work with all of our stems. Mouthpieces used in photos: our new bamboo wood, gray box burl and purple galactic resin spinning mouthpieces. A black m.p. would be perfect on this stem as well.
